Älvsjö AIK FF was one of 48 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during FCD Indoor Cup 2017. They participated with two teams in P06-Lätt/Medel and F04-Lätt/Medel respectively. The team in F04-Lätt/Medel made it to the the Final in Slutspeland won it over Hammarby IF FF by 5-0.
In addition to this, Älvsjö AIK FF have participated in FCD Indoor Cup before. During FCD Indoor Cup 2016, Älvsjö AIK had two teams playing in P04-Lätt and F04 respectively. The team in F04 made it to the the in Gruppspel, but lost it against FC Djursholm by 2-2. Älvsjö AIK comes from ÄLVSJÖ which lies approximately 15 km from Djursholm, where FCD Indoor Cup takes place. The area around ÄLVSJÖ does also provide 41 additional clubs participating during FCD Indoor Cup 2017 (Among others: Stuvsta IF, FC Djursholm 3, Hässelby SK FF, Spånga IS FK, Karlbergs BK, IFK Haninge, Vasalunds IF/Kista, Hägersten SK, Huddinge IF and Arameisk-Syrianska IF).
