Hammarby IF FF was one of 48 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during FCD Indoor Cup 2017. They participated with four teams in P05-Lätt/Medel, F04-Lätt/Medel and F04-Svår respectively. The team in F04-Lätt/Medel made it to the the Final in Slutspel, but lost it against Älvsjö AIK FF Vit by 0-5.
In addition to this, Hammarby IF FF have participated in FCD Indoor Cup before. During FCD Indoor Cup 2016, Hammarby had one team playing in P06-Svår. The team in P06-Svår made it to the the Final in Slutspel, but lost it against FC Djursholm 1 by 2-4. Hammarby comes from Johanneshov which lies approximately 12 km from Djursholm, where FCD Indoor Cup takes place. The area around Johanneshov does also provide 41 additional clubs participating during FCD Indoor Cup 2017 (Among others: Stuvsta IF, FC Djursholm 3, Hässelby SK FF, Spånga IS FK, Karlbergs BK, IFK Haninge, Vasalunds IF/Kista, Hägersten SK, Huddinge IF and Arameisk-Syrianska IF).
